Thanks to Geoff and friends for helpful information when we visited Chain Bridge Ford.
We are researching Tongue End and Deeping St Nicholas in connection with the Turner family there c1850 – 1950.
We have found quite a lot so far, should be able to share sometime, but to check will welcome leads, tips, ideas, stories, local info and images about those communities, schools, farms, pubs and events please.
Thanks in advance.
Clive & Eileen
Have just found this and hope I’m not too late!
I’m writing the second edition of a local history (“Deeping St Nicholas & Tongue End – the Story Continues”). Although I’ve not come across any Turner family members, feel free to email me with any questions or information at andy@ajc4.me.uk
I hope to publish by Christmas, or early next year.
