Four people can participate in the course.
Blacksmithing is a physically demanding job. Every applicant will have to take into consideration that they will be on their feet for the duration, working with metal and swinging a hefty hammer for the majority of their time.
Applicants with medical conditions such as bad backs, heart conditions or joint pain are strongly advised not to participate in an all day session.
For the introductory session, participants must be aged seven or over (accompanied by an adult). Participants in the half or full day sessions must be aged 13 or over.
Participants must be able to attend Chain Bridge Forge in High Street, Spalding, Lincs, PE11 1TX
Unfortunately we cannot issue any refunds for cancellations.
On completion of your order, you will be emailed a booking reference number. Present this email on arrival, or if you don’t have a printer, simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number.
We usually run 4 people per session so the available numbers on the system are set to this. If we are running a bespoke event then we can discuss and set up a specific product for you on our website.
All sessions need to be pre-ordered. Limited sessions may be available on the day but cannot be guaranteed.
ALL SAFETY EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED.
When working in a workshop environment, clothing is very important.

It’s worth mentioning as well that long hair will need to be tied back at all times.
