2026 Records

During April and May of 2026 we undertook a survey of the extant features of the Midlands and Great Northern Joint Railway.

Many artifacts still remain and a number of the properties are currently under renovation and most house people with a genuine interest in the history. Thank you to all of those that took the time to speak to us whilst we were documenting the route.

A mixture of ground and aerial photographs, video and 360 degree panoramas have been used, and where we have historic images and text, they have also been included.
