These photos show some floats making its way along the route at the Spalding Flower Parade.
From feedback we have established it is coming down Queens Road, but we still don’t know the exact year. Maybe someone with a knowledge of the Floats each year can pinpoint this for us ?

This looks like Queens Road just after Culpins Close which I guess was not built at the time this photo was taken – the house on the left has new windows and the telegraph pole only serves the phone line these days. However using Streetview on Google Earth will give a pretty good match of the roofline.
The fashions clearly point to the photo being taken in the late 1960’s early 1970’s. If you asked me for a year I would stab a guess at 1972.
