Shop in Spring Street any Memories
My grandparents,Don and Elsie Willson, used to have a shop down Spring Street (number 17). Does anyone remember them and the shop.

I remember Willsons shop from when I lived in Spalding as a girl. It was near Spalding Grammar School. The owner, Don Wilson, was also a window cleaner, hence the ladders outside! The shop was a source of sweets for children from the school as well as for emergency groceries.
I remember Don the window cleaner walking with his ladder attached to his bike…Can even remember him wearing a little hand knitted maroon coloured waistcoat…Can almost see his face even now,nearly 70 years later
