Long Sutton became part of the East Elloe RDC Fire Brigade in 1932 and in 1938 received a new Leyland Cub FK6 pump with “Braidwood” style bodywork. Chassis number 100003, it was registered JL 5726. It was powered by a Leyland 6-cylinder ‘Z’ type 29.7hp OHV petrol engine and equipped with a Gwynne 500 gpm pump. From 1941 until 1948 it was part of the National Fire Service fleet and then part of the Holland County Fire Service fleet. After disposal, it was saved for preservation and still exists in a fully restored condition.
