1906 postcard of Double Street currently for sale on eBay.
The view is looking towards the Westlode Street, Albion Street junction and you can see the Angel Inn pub sign in the distance on the left.
Really surprised to see these magnificent Georgian (?) townhouses about where the corner of Leverton’s yard was before it was recently turned back into housing.
