The book tells the story of Eric Houldershaw who was born in Hundred Fen, Gosberton Clough, Spalding and spent 50 years in agriculture there. Moving into Spalding in retirement where he wrote down his memories of the 3 years of his life when he was in the Army during the Second World War.
