My father worked for F. Caswell & Sons of Monks Hall, Gosberton for many years. A local Press photo ( Lincs Free Press, Gaurdian or similar in the 50’s I think ) showed him driving a Fordson E27N tractor with I think, a Ransomes potato harvester. Another tractor and cart was running alongside. From my distant memory I think the harvester was a new piece of equipment to the area and was being featured in the press.
It remains very clear in my memory that the Fordson was registered as AJL 681 and was later converted to a somewhat unusual 3 wheeler arrangement for row crop work by Levertons of Spalding.
Does anyone a) have any information on this set-up and b) know how I can get hold of a copy of the picture.
