The White Lion in the High St. The pub closed and then became a pizza-italian restaurant and bar called The Courtyard during the mid 1980’s. Today its flats. You must have some stories about the pub. Please share.

I seem to remember in the 60s just down the courtyard on the left and up the stairs might have been on ground floor anyway good groups and good music fantastic weekends, one group comes to mind the Casterways, if I have got any of this wrong l would love to know it’s my age you know.
