Save the last signal box in Spalding (no. 1) from demolition in October. Object to the application to SHDC before 1/10/14 or we will lose our last piece of railway heritage.
They are saving Deeping St James why don’t Spalding people want to save the last of at least 8 boxes in the area. Why the rush,they removed the tracks to March in the 80’s yet several boxes still remain.Gone Spalding No1 No2 No3 Welland Bank,Welland Bridge, Cuckoo Junction, PInchbeck Road, Mill Green, and soon Windsover Road.Last attempt to save through piece in Spalding Voice this week.Why not convert to Tulip Box Gallery with photos of the tulip Parades and trains from all over uk in the sidings !
