The train is the BR ‘Deltic Fenman’ excursion which ran on Bank Holiday Monday 4 May 1981 from Finsbury Park to Wansford (Nene Valley Railway). The locomotive is BR Class 55 Deltic Diesel no 55002 named ‘King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry’ which was withdrawn from service Dec 1981 & survives as part of the National Collection, presently in the care of the KOYLI Group.
