Around 2,000 Otto Dicycles were manufactured under patent from 1881 by an engineering company, the Birmingham Small Arms Company. The parallel wheels were supposed to give it enhanced safety ahead of the bicycle. Here is a link regarding their development: https://www.gracesguide.co.uk/BSA:_Bicycles
In 2007, one was sold by Bonhams Auction House in London for £17,250.
