Potato Railway at Goose Hall Farm, Littleworth 1916

This photo shows the potato railway at Goose Hall Farm near to Littleworth Railway Station, Deeping St Nicholas in 1916.Alongside the farm buildings is the glasshouse used for chitting potatoes. This could hold 200-250 tons.The narrow gauge railway can be seen in the background. This was one of many potato railways in the village.
