Caption below the picture is wrong. The Girls’ Brigade is outside the Pinchbeck Baptist Church. There never was a Methodist Church in Pinchbeck East.

While the Girls Brigade was for sure associated with the Pinchbeck Baptist Church (my sister was a member of GLB), there certainly was a Methodist Church in Pinchbeck East. It was on the north side of Knight Street, pretty much opposite the old school.
I remember it well from attending the school in the late 1940s.
