Some Photographs of the Old West Elloe Bridge. The gray scale was taken around 1964 and the two colour shots were taken in Sept 1967. Construction had just started on the second bridge which then led to the roundabout. On one photo you can see the structure that carried the gas line over the river. It was directly in front of the houses where Don Megginson and the Spendlelows lived. Don Megginson was a football player of note who played for Spalding Utd in the mid fifties.
