Old engraving of Trinity Bridge, Crowland

This old engraving is of Trinity Bridge in Crowland and is dated as 1795.

The triangular Trinity Bridge now stands on dry land. It was built between 1360 and 1390. Originally it spanned the River Welland and a tributary that flowed through the town, though now the rivers have been re-routed and no longer flow anywhere near the bridge.
