This photo is of the Oat Sheaf Inn, Deeping Fen. Â It was actually situated on the main road in Deeping St Nicholas at the very Border with Deeping Fen, near to where Randalls Garage is today.
This was a Soames Brewery pub that was sold to Steward & Patteson in 1949. Closed October 1957.

I would love to get more information on this property.
Myself and my wife are living in it at the moment, and have been for a short time.
Of course a lot has changed, but I love knowing all I can about any place I have lived , and live in.
I have found items when doing work especially in the grounds.
I want to keep the remaining features that do remind me of the older building.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hopefully one of or readers can help.
Regards
Geoff
