  1. This is Bristol Lodekka with Eastern Coach Works of Lowestoft bodywork. The fleetname in the stale of the nationalised National Bus Company would date this photograph as being in the mid to late 1970’s or early possibly very early1980’s, although most of the rear entrance examples of this 1950’s classic had been withdrawn by then.

  2. Whilst the leaf green and poppy red liveries of the National Bus Company may have seem stale compared with the variety seen before and after the demise of that organisation, I did mean to type “style” not “stale”!

A Friend of mine who comes from Newark in Nottinghamshire wants a picture of I believe a Bedford VAS5 with a Wrights body in which as far as I can tell worked for Lincolnshire Road car from new in 1986 Registration number is D506SGA Can you tell me a bit more about this vehicle please He thinks it went to a Asian guy called Pete’s Travel from West Midlands is that right ? I have tried all over internet but nobody seems to have this one. Can you help here with my question and a photo download please ?
