Lt. Leonard Dawes landed his biplane in a field in the Delph, Long Sutton and visited his parents at Sutton House on 18th October 1913. This is taken from A History of Long Sutton by F.W. & B.A.Robinson. I think The Long Sutton & District Civic Society have a photograph of the plane somewhere,
