What is known is that for almost one hundred years Bourne was noted for its bottled water. Lee and Green opened its premises at the old theatre, off Abbey Road in 1891. Bourne water also supplied to its factories in Spalding,Skegness and Boston. The Bourne factory closed in 1934.
