We have been established since 1862 and have been proud to serve the people of Spalding and the surrounding areas for what is now 150 years. This is a little piece of history passed on to us recently by a customer found whilst sorting through some old bills !!! Dated 6th June 1945 it is a receipt for 1 set of carvers (we are not sure if this is knives or chairs) purchased for £1.13.6 less a discount of 1.6 !! Makes you think doesnt it !!! What could you purchase now for £1.60 ?
