This photo shows a horse fair taking place in Pinchbeck Road, Spalding sometime in the early 1900’s. Horses in general was not sold at the ordinary market in the town. But come September those wishing to sell their horses would meet in Pinchbeck Street ( now Pinchbeck Road ) for the annual September Fair.
