The shop on the right of the picture, which you asked after, was Donington Wallpaper & Paint (found on old planning authority maps).
They utilised several buildings dotted around town from time to time, and the building to the rear of Boots (when Boots was at 7 Market Place) was the largest I think. Boots later took over this rear section occupied by Doningtons, and redeveloped it into an extension to their own shop.
