Dutch Children visit Spalding Post War

Malcolm Pepper gives a little background to the Dutch visit. A committee was put together to help give ‘restbite’ to some Dutch children after the war. They came over, had a ‘holiday’ then went back. My Grandparents looked after a young lad called Harm (Harry) Bass. 70 years since this July since it happened. Does anybody have memories of the visit?
