We look back to the Spalding Guardian of 50 years ago.
Lorry driver James Douglas Elmas, of 85 Gate House, Long Sutton, had a narrow escape from serious injury when his lorry left the road near Fulney church and crashed into a garden. Mr Elms was taken to the Johnson Hospital with head injuries and was said to be fairly comfortable. His vehicle was extensively damaged.
