Days of Spalding’s old Corn Exchange

Published on 04/04/2013 11:58

The solemn-looking little girl pictured in the 1950s in Spalding’s old Corn Exchange – on the site of South Holland Centre – is Vivien Earl, according to Alan Lambert, the chairman of the Friends of Moulton Mill, where the original photograph is on display.

The photograph is one of the artefacts left at the mill by the last miller, John Biggadike, whose family were corn merchants as well as millers.
