This was originally the Exchange Garage. Both my grandfather’s owned it and worked there. They sold up to Dennis Tear and the garage moved down the street to where the exchange garage is now. Before the exchange garage, my grandfather’s fixed motorbikes down park road on the site of the old Tyre garage apposite the masonics hall. Picture here of Len and Leslie Barton, both wearing hats.
