The Bolton family
There is a large memorial stone in the south west corner of the nave. The text on the memorial is extensive, detailing Henry Bolton Esquire’s various official offices, land holdings and titles . Of particular note are the details of his numerous marriages and of his son. Three of his wives have ledger stones in the church and two hatchments (already detailed) by the west door.

The Corby family
A wealthy landowning family in the area during 1700s to mid 1800s. A number of ledger stones in the church record their presence.
