Yes, my aunty Joyce owned it for quite a time, and we had several lovely meals there including one for my 18 th birthday, party for my 21st and a meal for my hen night! Lovely atmosphere delicious food good hosts
When I worked at GPO telephone exchange Gore Lane 1954 ( Jan Leggett then) a few of us telephonists went there on Fridays (payday) for lunch. I never had the main course only the starter cos I always wanted a pud
