Governance

We have completed the review of our Governance arrangements with help of c.e.r.t. and concluded that our charity South Holland Life should become the lead organisation. South Holland Life is a charity and Chain Bridge Forge will become the trading arm.

Funding

Since losing both Pride in Place and UKSPF funding cash flow and the money to purchase the sail loft have become significant issues. We are working to develop the following initiatives:

Sponsorships/ Donations – Ask the Business Community to make a donation and offer rewards for donation.

•Gold – over £100 – Discount on taster and commission. Name Plate. Gold token

•Silver – over £50 – Name Plate and Silver token

•Bronze – £10 – Bronze token

Grants  – Targeted bids for community benefit, creative learning, youth employment, capital improvements and arts participation

Cash Flow – immediate need – £10k – cover set up

Artist in Residence  – Arts Council  – estimate £90k

Acquisition – £155k

Renovation – seek once acquisition is complete – £50k

Hybrid of the Above

Crowdfunding  – Public-facing campaign to demonstrate community support and raise match funding.

•Small bid to help with cash flow

•Partner with Green Well Garden

Loan Finance  – Considered only where repayment can be supported by clear earned-income forecasts.

•Key Fund support any shortly

Extend Lease – Request extension to the lease.

So please watch this space and contribution welcome.
