Anne Shearman memories of the parade

Anne Shearman

The first photo is from 1961 and was a float that was entered by Snowdrop Nurseries. The float was the “Old Woman who lives in a Shoe” I was one of the children in the shoe and the photo is of me standing by the front.

The second photo I’m not sure of the year but it would either 1963/64 or 65. The float was entered by West Pinchbeck village and was draw by Edward Sneath’s horses. It was an once an theme I was one of the six mermaids riding on the float. I am the middle mermaid.
