Lincolnshire Heritage Awards 2014

The Awards celebrate all of the wonderful work taking place in museums, historic houses and heritage sites across the county and reward best practice.

Lincolnshire Heritage Forum would like to invite you to enter the awards, which will be judged in June by David Sleight (Dean of the Faculty of Media, Humanities and Technology, University of Lincoln), Emma Tatlow (Visit Lincoln Partnership Manager) and Steve LeMottee (Executive Director at East Midlands Museums Service). We are really fortunate to have such an excellent team of judges who will be able to offer participating museums additional benefits and support after the formal awards ceremony.

Entering the Awards is an excellent way to raise the profile of your museum or heritage site and gain recognition for your volunteers and staff. The ceremony will be attended by local councillors, civic dignitaries, representatives of key funding organisations and local media.

Please find below everything you will need to enter this year’s awards which will be presented at an evening ceremony at Gainsborough Old Hall on Thursday 10th July. The Master of Ceremonies for the event will be Rod Whiting from BBC Radio Lincolnshire. Award winners will receive a plaque and significant local and regional promotion.
