The Innovation area includes 3D Printers, Scanners and Virtual Reality. We have used this equipment to demonstrate these emerging technologies and also undertaken projects for our community
1) A young man with a deformed hand but is desperate to ride a bike. We made a hand for him.
2) The local Hospice who wants to build an extension. We were able to transfer the drawings into a 3D model which could be shown to potential investors.
We have also started training people in 3D modelling. We hope our work will encourage more people to learn about Virtual Reality. However our computer is no longer capable of driving the Virtual Reality head sets. So we need a new computer.
Can you help by making a donation?
If we are successful we will organise pop events around South Holland to give young people exposure to Virtual Reality.
