This was created by initially creating a 3D scan of the persons bust, processing the image and then sending it to a 3D printer. Sadly it looses some of the definition that colour brings but it is a remarkable likeness.
The item was also printed so that it was hollow.
It was created using an IPad, structure sense scanner, itseez3d and our ultimaker printer. Does this inspire you have your own image created!!
