This lovely engraving dating from 1836 shows a view from London Road, Spalding, looking over the River Welland towards Ayscoughfee with the Parish Church seen in the background. In the foreground crossing the River you can see part of the old Dinham’s Bridge. This was replaced in 1837 with the Victoria Footbridge.
