Little London 1966’s

This picture is approx 1966 at Little London opposite the phone box facing towards BP garage. Knipes house and Dacks bungalow have not been built yet. The white house was demolished to build Knipes house set back from footpath. I belive where the railings are in the picture is where the blacksmith used to be and gents hairdressers.

  • The railing were my Grandad Dack’s and Uncle Charlie(the Blacksmith) iI can remember you moving as a baby to live next door to NaN, she babysat you. my cousin was Michael who is on the truck. I think it was a little before 1966

Comment from John Choma If you can imagine the phone box across the road. The White House is Knipe’s. Before they built the big one behind it. The railings is the Blacksmith and hairdressers

  1. Charlie Pack was the blacksmith and I think the barber was a certain Keith Walker for many years
