The Reredos (Altar Screen) was erected in the early 18th century and is believed to be from the ‘Flemish Region’ of the Low Countries. It has a typical centre piece directly in line with the High Altar, bearing an image of a flagon in the centre (representative of the concentrated wine) on the left are sheaths of wheat and a loaf of bread, whilst on the right is depicted the chalice and grape vines with fruit.
