Memories from John Woodchuck
My memories were of the congestion on the “Tulip Route” near Wimberley Hall and deciding as an 8? year old that I could make money selling tulips from my grandmother’s fields to the passing cars – sadly grandma asked us to hand over the money – she did let us keep a few shillings if I recall
My Uncle was Gerard Nell, he lived at 63 Pinchbeck Road; most of the pictures were taken outside 61 and 63.
4 pictures may have been taken from the field where the floats were assembled.
Hopefully more to come
PS My Grandfather was Robert Mossop Fletcher of Wimberley Hall, Weston.
