As part of our Arts Council project Pump, Grind and Smith we are creating new art installations at Moulton Mill, Pinchbeck Pumping Museum and Chain Bridge Forge.
To help us visualise them in their intended locations we took 360 degree photographs of the location and upload them to Tilt Brush software that can be accessed from our VIVE system.
Jeni Cairns our artist was then able to draw the proposed art installation within the virtual space as if she was outside the Mill.. This meant she could walk around the installation and see it from all angles. Jeni said that it was fun to do, but it also gave potential customers the opportunity to interact with the art installation and view it in its intended location prior to manufacture and installation.
