Ryan started Blacksmithing at school and followed it with an apprenticeship under the watchful eye of Bob Oakes at Cold Hanworth Forge North of Lincoln and completed his Blacksmith training at Hereford College. Ryan has taught Blacksmithing at Lincoln Castle and has produced everything from domestic ironwork to sculptures. He can also do specialist conservation work.
