Gull Pit lake, Deeping High Bank, Deeping Fen

Known locally as Gull Pit, the lake is now used for private fishing. Situated on Deeping High Bank close to Gull Farm the Gull, or Deep Hole was formed by the water when the river burst its banks in the 1760’s
