I would have loved to have known my Great Grandfather Captain John Henry Vine (1845-1923). What tales of the voyages he made during his life as a seafarer he could have told me. Maybe I inherited some of his genes as from a early age I was attracted to the water and spent many hours both paddling a Kayak and sailing 5 sailing dinghies that I owned.
